Progress GPS
Independent project · In development

A clearer route to real progress.

Learning is more than a streak. Progress GPS explores how to connect your current ability, the next meaningful milestone, and the effort that can move you forward.

The approach

Less guesswork. More direction.

The research focuses on separating time spent practicing from changes in actual ability. Three principles guide the product design.

01 / BASELINE

Start where you are

Use capability checkpoints to understand your starting point, rather than treating all activity as progress.

02 / MOMENTUM

Choose the next useful step

Connect each milestone to small, achievable actions. Consistency should be supportive, not punitive.

03 / ADAPTATION

Keep estimates honest

Explore adaptive timelines with uncertainty, recalculated as real evidence of learning becomes available.

Current research focus

Starting with spoken English.

Progress GPS is an early-stage, research-first project. The initial use case investigates meaningful speaking checkpoints for adult beginners, supported by an instrumented prototype.

This is an introduction to the project, not a public product launch. External pilot participation is not yet open.

  • Beginner English-speaking capability checkpoints
  • Effort and measured skill treated separately
  • Evidence-aware estimates instead of false precision
  • Privacy and consent checks before any external pilot
